According to www.okmagazine.com, on August 9,the Jonas Brothers will be starting a series of summer acts. On the 9^th they will be preforming a concert for the students of Ross School in East Hampton, NY. The school is an accredited independent school for grades pre-nursery through grade twelve.

The concert will be held in the school’s gym, and all the proceeds from the concert will go towards the school for the school’s program and scholarships.

Lucky kids to have a personal concerts with the Jonas Brothers. When I was growing up, nothing like that every happened at my school. We would be lucky just to have a concert in our town.

According to http://news.sawf.org, the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale will appear on a song and dance special for Disney Channel’s ‘Studio DC: Almost Live,’ which premieres on Sunday, August 3 at 8 p.m.

I believe this is going to be a great show, with the three of them on it. There will also be appearances from the Muppets. Yes, you heard me right, the lovable Muppets. I have always liked Ms. Piggy.

According to Marc Malkin writer for www.eonline.com, the Jonas Brothers want to make their own clothing line.

“I’m not saying we’re the best designers in the world, but being able to make what we like, that would be so cool,” said Kevin, “We love dressing up and putting on different kinds of clothes.”

There is also a chance that they maybe putting out a Christmas album. Nick says a Christmas album is a definite possibility. “We wrote a holiday song, “Girl of My Dreams,” and sang it at the Disney parade last year,” Nick said, “It was a lot of fun…Maybe there is a holiday album in our future.”

According to the AP, the Jonas Brothers will be preforming at the Video Music Awards, this year. This will be the first time that the brothers will be performing for the VMAs

In a statement, brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick said: “This is an awesome opportunity. We have grown up watching all the amazing and iconic performances on the VMAs. It is an honor to be a part of something so incredible.”

The awards will air Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9pm (ET/PT).

Keep the shirts coming. According to the July 2008 Issue of M Magazine, Joe tells them, “I love when fans make us T-shirts on tour. We wear them!”

I can just picture the shirts that they get. Making them shirts is a great way to make sure that they will get it. Be creative . . . Find out things that they like. . . Draw something on a shirt. If you can sew . . . Then are many great ideas out there.

According to Tiger Beat Magazine (May 2008 issue), Kevin Jonas loves to prank people. But he is not the only one. The other brothers also play pranks on each other. Their tour crew is not even safe.

“Pulling pranks never gets old!” Kevin tells Tiger Beat, “There’s this new one we have. When someone’s taking a shower, you freeze water– just enough so it’s not frozen but super, super cold. Then you take four cups and dump it on [the guy taking] the shower, and he just freaks out. It’s a good one!”

When I do things for others, it makes me feel good. I am sure that is true for almost everyone. That is also true for the Jonas Brothers.”The first time fans came up to us and told us that our music helped them through a though situation, that really made us feel happy. We knew we wanted to make songs that were positive and helped kids out” Joe Jonas told Bop Magazine in the June/July 2008 issue.

J-14 (May/June Issue)talked to the Jonas Brothers mom, Denise, to find out some “secrets” about the talented brothers.

Denise told J-14 a secret about Kevin, “In high school, Kevin wore glasses. He was the geeky kid, but he was friendly and outgoing.” I could not see Kevin as a “geeky kid,” but I can see him a friendly and outgoing. You can see that when he is around his fans and in concert.

Can you believe that Joe was a “class clown?” Well… Yeah… “We had a conference with his teacher who kept calling him J.J., I said ‘I’m sorry, we’re Joseph Jonas’ parent’s’ and she looked at me funny. She said, ‘Yeah, J.J.’ We just laughed because I never heard that name for him!.” Denise said.

Denise continues, but this time about Nick. “When he was little, Nick figured out he could open the cabinets. He used to climb in the cabinet, unscrew the top of this glass container and eat all of the pretzels. I’d walk in and he would just smile at me.”

According to Valerie Nome from www.okmagazine.com, Kevin and Joe Jonas tell her what they like in a girl.

“[I look for] somebody who is really good to mom, somebody who likes to have fun.” Joe continues, “It’s really important that when they walk into a room, they don’t only greet the people they think they’re supposed to greet, but they greet everybody.” I just love it. Greet everyone, not just the ones you think you should. That would be a great idea for anyone to do, but I do know that there are shy people out there. I am one of them, but it is something that I can learn. Anyone can learn.

Now what about Kevin? “It’s a girl you can talk to on the phone and it be okay that you’re not always there,” Kevin says.
